16 Dec 2007 - Match Report KHFitC U12s (S&DYFL)

KHFitC 0 v 2 Kinver Colts - report by Ian Adams

The game against Kinver was always going to be a difficult game; due to injuries we could only just about field 11 players.. because of Charlie’s injury the week before, Ben G ended up in goal and other fit players were asked to play in positions that they were not used too. But the Boys still put in a good first half and unfortunately went in 1-0 down. The second half was much of the same with Harriers trying to take control of the game... then the moment we all feared - another injury to one of our players... Harry pulled up with a knee injury and had to come off.. and we were down to 10 men.. after about 10 mins Harry felt that he could carry on, so we changed his position and put him in goal as he was still un-easy on his feet.. unfortunately with all the determination within the team they could not stop the 2nd goal... A good effort from all the team under difficult conditions... We later found out that Harry had been in a lot of pain for the last 20 mins of the game -  a visit to the Hospital and a few X-Rays later found that he had a fractured knee and has spent Christmas and the New Year in plaster!

I hope that everyone had a good Christmas and wish a Happy New Year to everyone involved with Kidderminster Harriers... and a big Get Well Soon Harry.
