KHFitC 9 v 0 Wyre Forest Panthers report by Harry Brooks
Line up – Charlie, Josh, Macca, Sam, Ade, Ryan, H, Jack, Fletch, Ben A, Ben G. Sub - Ash
Welcome back to Charlie on his return from injury.
First half - Harry arrived at the start of the match to support the lads as Panthers went 2-0 up. As Harry was “out of action”, he enthusiastically volunteered to write the match report – good lad!!!
Good battling by the defenders Josh, Macca, Jack, H, Adrian. Good clearance by Ben G and H. Ryan and Fletch go on the attack but Panthers come back to score 3-0. Ash came on for Jack. Great play by Ade. Harriers attack from a Ben G cross just missing Ryan. More good defending by Ady. Ash steps up to take a free kick and Harriers attack with H and others. Panthers attack, Charlie makes a good save. Macca gets a throw in, Panthers throw in, then back out again by Ady. Harriers attack when Ben A put Sam through. Panthers attack, brilliant defending by Ash and a save by Charlie. Panthers attack again with another good tip over the bar by Charlie.
Half time – Panthers 3 v 0 Harriers. Charlie is muddy!
Second half – Ryan did a good long throw. Panthers got the ball and had a near miss, then a long kick which Macca laid back to Jack, Jack cleared off the line but it went in for 4-0. Panthers attacked, 5-0. Ade shouted “help him out” as Josh went down and Ryan had a near miss. Ade did a good tackle and stormed down the line to cross to Ben A. Ash takes a free kick and Ben A clears down the line, Ben G heads the ball back out, Ade hits it back out and Macca clears out. Charlie throws out, handball, Ash takes a free kick. Charlie boots it upfield, Panthers attack, Charlie gets trampled and Panthers score 6-0. More pressure from Panthers, Jack heads out and Ben A clears. Panthers play a short corner. Josh comes on for Jack. Ben G plays over to Sam. Panthers take a free kick. Ash gets a free kick, Panthers attack, Ben A and Ash clear. Ade battles, Charlie boots the ball out, but Panthers score again, 7-0. Panthers push forward, Ben G clears, Panthers throw in and Ash puts it out for a throw in. Panthers get a corner, good save from Charlie. Panthers slide it past Macca and Charlie, 8-0. Brilliant attacking by Ryan, Fletch, Sam and Ben G. Good save by Charlie, but Panthers score again, 9-0. Jack came on for H. Pressure from Panthers, good goal kick from Charlie. Ben A takes a throw, Panthers throw. Good defending by Ryan and a good stop by Charlie. Panthers have a corner cross into the box but miss by quite far. Sam starts to make a break and Ryan is tackled. Last few seconds – Panthers player skies the ball and the ref blows full time.
Final score – Panthers 9 v 0 Harriers. Charlie is VERY muddy!!!
