KHFitC Hawks 0 v 4 Bewdley Town – Report by Matt Evans
A cup game again but this one didn't really matter as we had no realistic chance of getting out of our group (a very familiar situation amongst the harriers teams this year). So it was time to experiment, Haydn was captain for the day and we started with a new look midfield of Alex, Jack O, Byron and Gareth. Jamie started in goal and Jordan sat alongside Haydn in defence. Initially they coped well but the extra class that Bewdley possessed soon shone through and before long they were 2 and then 3 up. Shortly after the break that became 4. We then changed things around giving Lewis a run up front which so nearly paid off. Jack came on in the middle and instantly made an impact. Dan came on in an unfamiliar left wing position and came close on 2 occasions. Special mention must also go to George who impressed in defence. In summary a useful game which gave us the opportunity to experiment. Man of the match today goes to Haydn.
