KHFitC 2 v 3 Kinver Colts - report by Paul Brooks

Harriers kicked off attacking into strong wind; Kinver had a lot of early possession and were the first to score.  We struggled to keep the ball and our passing wasn’t as good as last week, resulting in only 3 shots at goal in the first half, a good save from Charlie kept it at 1-0 H/T.

With the wind behind us we were hoping to get back into the game, and a few minutes into the second half we won a throw in, taken quickly, a flick from Danny, and Jordy beat the keeper on the near post.  It didn’t stay level for long, a great individual goal from Kinver 2-1. We were struggling with few chances.  Harry got put through to shoot just wide; Kinver took the ball back up the pitch to score their third. 3-1. We did have a few chances late on; Sam played an early ball through to Ben G who scored a tight goal in the bottom right hand corner and we pulled it back to 3-2.  It was a little late, the final whistle blowing not long after.  It wasn’t to be our day.
