Harriers lined up with Charlie, Ben G. Ben A, Adrian, Ashley, Jack, Mac, H., Daniel, Harry and Ryan.
From the kick-off, Jack lifted the ball forwards. Ryan passed to Harry, who hit a great left foot shot over the goalie. 1 - 0 to Harriers. A great start! Harriers broke forward again with Harry running through and shooting just wide of the goal. A free kick to Harriers caused goalmouth confusion with a shot from Harry going just over the bar. A break from Areley Kings brought a good save from Charlie. Another break from the Harriers saw Harry shooting wide again. Then came a good move with Harry lifting the ball over the defence and Ryan running through to score, 2-0 to Harriers.
More pressure from the Harriers saw Danny shooting wide. Harriers were well on top at this point. A good move from Areley Kings brought a goal to them, 2-1 to Harriers.
A great through pass from Daniel sent Harry through to score 3-1 Harriers. A quiet period in the game with both teams being caught offside. An intercepted goal kick and pass by Ben G sent Harry through and the goalie saved. A penalty for Areley Kings made the score 3-2 to Harriers. A break from Harriers and a shot from Ben G was just wide.
A great half from Harriers who led 3-2 at half time.
Sam and Josh came on for Adrian and H at half time. Early pressure from Areley Kings at the start of the second half and a midfield battle with both teams working hard. A corner and goalmouth scramble brought Areley Kings a goal to make the score 3-3. A good move brought a run and shot from Harry and a save from the goalie. A through ball from Ryan, and Harry ran through to score for his hat-trick, 4-3 to the Harriers. Another break from Harriers saw Fletch run through to score, 5-3 to Harriers.
More pressure from Harriers nearly brought a sixth with a run and shot from Ashley.
Another run through the defence from Harry brought a sixth goal when he lobbed the keeper to make the score 6-3 to Harriers. Another goal for Ryan was offside and shots in quick succession from Ben G and Harry kept the Harriers on top. More pressure brought the seventh with Ben G running through to score, 7-3. A great all-round team effort and a well-deserved win.
