Warndon Piranhas 4 v 0 KHFitC Hawks - League Cup
Not a lot to say about this game really, it was a cup game against a 1st division team. The first time we have taken on someone from the top tier of Under 9's football. Warndon scored 5 minutes in and it didn't really get much better. A few brief spells gave us some hope but in reality it was never going to happen. We were out battled in all areas of the pitch.
So heads up lads, tough game next week so I want us competing more. We can't let the opposition dictate the game we need to be first to everything.
Man-of-the-match today was Haydn who has started at the back every week, which isn't the most glamorous position and he has never moaned and always got on with the job.
