KHFitC Under 12s (MJPFL Team) Newsletter

February kicked off with a local derby away to Worcester City who had started to move up the table. We came out of it 5 - 0 winners with some excellent football being played. Next up were Brackley at home and we knew that from our visit to them earlier in the season that this was not going to be easy.

They started off the better by being first to the ball and it took us until mid way through the first half for us to compete and take control of the game. We came out 6 - 1 winners in what was a good hard and at times physical game.

Hinckley away top against bottom possible banana skin game. We played good football and created many chances we came away 2 - 0 winners in what was a difficult game where quite a few strange decisions were given ( or not given !! ) in our favour. A very important 3 points took us a step closer to the league title.

March fixtures

1st -  RC Warwick – at Moor Lane B'ham (CUP)

15th - Studley - Away

22nd - Tividale - Away

29th - Stamford - Home

March is a massive month for us, after all the hard work the team has put in this is the month where we have to be ready for some big games.

We start off with a cup semi final against RC Warwick. They have only played three games since Christmas so we do not really know there form, however we do know from the league that they have scored 4 goals against us and this will be there only chance of winning something this season. Therefore a good professional approach is needed and we must take our chances in front of goal. A win here would set us up for the rest of the month.

We then have two away games Studley who created chances against us and then top of the table and our nearest rivals Tividale. We finish the month at home to Stamford. If results go our way we could win the league by the end of March. However let’s not get carried away, we have won nothing at the moment and it is important to keep focused 1 game at a time.

NEWSFLASH UPDATE

Kidderminster Harriers Under 12’s win cup semi final.

Kiddy won the semi final 7 - 0 against RC Warwick on a dry but windy Saturday morning at Moor Lane Birmingham. Goals from Callum Perks (hat trick) James Halsall (2) Nick Macpherson and James Mullhern means that we now look forward to a final where the date and venue is to be confirmed

WELL DONE KIDDERMINSTER HARRIERS

Normally we thank either helpers or parents for all the work they do but on this occasion a massive

THANK YOU

goes to our brilliant bunch of players that make our squad. We are not a team of 11 players but a squad of 16 who ALL deserve to be on the pitch playing.
